Dragon's Dogma 2 Player Creates Sonic Pawn

A Dragon's Dogma 2 player created a Pawn resembling Sonic, gaming's most famous hedgehog. The character creator in Dragon's Dogma 2 has been hailed by many as one of the most dynamic and customizable systems, enabling players to put their creativity to work and craft the most unusual characters possible.

Dragon's Dogma 2 is a single-player open-world action-RPG. However, the player is accompanied by Pawns, AI-controlled members who can assist the main character in battles and by offering guidance. One of these Pawns is entirely created by the player through the in-depth Dragon's Dogma 2 character creator. The customization is incredibly modular, allowing players to alter each minor feature of the Pawn, from hair to skin color and body mass. This freedom is allowing some fans to be more ingenious than expected.

On Reddit, a Dragon's Dogma 2 player shared that they were in the Rift when they encountered a peculiar Pawn resembling Sonic. The Pawn in question isn't a carbon copy of the hedgehog, but it turned out incredibly competent and showcases the potential of the game's character creator. The Pawn has blue-colored skin, spiky hair, and a mask imitating Sonic's eyes. Some comments on Reddit suggest that the player who created Sonic probably hasn't discovered that Dragon's Dogma 2 has a dye system, and when they do, they could make their Pawn even more similar to the hedgehog.

It's not the first time a player has created a Pawn from another game. Fans have seen examples of Pawns modeled after Pikachu, John Wick, and even God of War protagonist Kratos. The Pawn system in Dragon's Dogma 2 is the backbone of the action-RPG and is likely the feature that differentiates it from other RPGs. By expanding character creation to the maximum, Capcom has found a way to promote the game through players organically.

And while Pawns are often in the spotlight of Dragon's Dogma 2, sometimes it's not for a good reason. With the game's release and Pawn sharing, players started
