Destiny 2 Reveals Prismatic Exotic Class Item Perks

Bungie confirms the various perks that are available with the upcoming exotic class item for Destiny 2's newest subclass inside of the Final Shape expansion. It's been a great few weeks for Destiny 2 players, as the lengthy Season of the Wish was infused with the immensely popular Into The Light update back in April. Not only did this give Destiny 2 players something new to chase with 12 returning weapons, but it added a wealth of new activities like the wave-defense Onslaught mode, returning exotic missions, as well as the end-game challenge known as Pantheon.

However, in addition to Into The Light, Bungie has continued to reveal new details with the highly anticipated expansion, The Final Shape. Livestreams and trailers have shown more of the Pale Heart destination, new enemy types, as well as some of the content that will be waiting for players as well. While Destiny 2 fans knew that 3 new Light-based supers were being added, Bungie shocked the community by also revealing a brand new Prismatic subclass, which aims to add a bit of chaos into the meta by allowing players to customize nearly every component of it. The Final Shape is also adding the first ever exotic class item, which was detailed a bit more by Bungie.

Inside of its weekly blog post to fans, Bungie provided a more detailed look at how customizable the new Destiny 2 exotic class item is going to be. Previously, the company confirmed that this item would let players mix and match perks, essentially taking the abilities from two different exotics and combining them into one. Previously, only a couple of perks were revealed, leaving the community to wonder just how expansive the list could be when the expansion finally arrived.
