Destiny 2 Releases Update 7.3.6.3

Bungie releases Update 7.3.6.3 for Destiny 2, which fixes a number of issues with the wave defense Onslaught mode, tweaks weapons like Recluse, Hammerhead, and Tusk of the Boar, while also patching out two popular cheese spots during The Whisper mission. It's a busy weekly reset for Destiny 2 players as, in addition to the reset, the final two BRAVE Arsenal weapons have been added to the game. Players can once again farm for the Black Armory's Blast Furnace and the old Crucible-centric Luna's Howl hand cannon.

Outside of a new loot farming option, the Pantheon activity is also making its debut this week, which will challenge fireteams to complete a gauntlet against various raid bosses. Bungie has indicated that the Pantheon will increase in difficulty each week, starting with four encounters and escalating up to 8 towards the end of May. However, players who can overcome these challenges should prepare to be rewarded for their efforts with adept raid weapons, deepsight frames, and exotics as well. Alongside new weapons and the Pantheon, the final addition to Destiny 2 this week was a new update for players to download.

As revealed in the official patch notes, the latest update for Destiny 2 fixes a number of issues related to activities like Onslaught, makes quality of life changes to a few BRAVE and Iron Banner weapons, while also improving the Riven's Lair related bounty obtained from Shaxx in the Hall of Champions. One of the more controversial changes to the Crucible recently was the overhaul of special ammo. In this update, Bungie made additional tweaks to the system, unifying all respawn mode ammo point reward values, removing ability kills from contributing to the ammo meter, making the system easier to understand, and more.

Destiny 2 players running the recently returned Whisper mission will also have fewer cheese spots and exploits to use. Players discovered an out-of-bounds trick inside the boss room, allowing them to fight and kill each of the three
