Cyberpunk 2077 Gets New Crossover Thanks To An Incredible V

While may be seen as the best iteration of a dystopian future slowly crumbling under the weight of technological development, one fan's creation should remind players that another game used to hold that title. Decades before CD Projekt Red released the 2020 open-world RPG, developer Ion Storm introduced the world to, a franchise that shares much of its DNA with. While the series has been on an indefinite hiatus, one of the games' more iconic characters has managed to jump across universes and arrive in Night City.

Posted to Reddit by user RenownedPilot, the player shared their customized version of V that looks near identical to Adam Jensen, the protagonist of and its sequel.

The resemblance is uncanny as the user even went out of their way to faithfully replicate the character's iconic eye implants, swept back hair and high-collared coat. The digital photo shoot even sees the character pose with a cigarette, much like he did in 's iconic cinematic trailer which debuted back in 2013.

The inclusion of one confusing Cyberpunk 2077 mechanic could actually enhance its sequel, Project Orion, if CD Projekt Red were to build upon it.

While depicting fairly different versions of a dystopian future, the two most recent games are very similar to in terms of their themes, design, and overall presentation.Both franchises star an augmented character who is tasked with completing various objectives for shady clients while slowly growing stronger through a process of augmentation that steadily wittles down their humanity. While depicts a slicker vision of the future, 's Night City is far more grim and gritty, filled with flashy graffiti and over-the-top characters.

Adam Jensen, the star of and, proved to be an especially popular character amongst players, many of whom expressed sympathy for his confusion regarding his purpose in a world where he was a weapon employed by a corporation. Unfortunately for fans of the franchise, it's unlikely that Jensen will return.Developer
