College Football 25 Team Builder App Details & Changes Explained

With the return of , comes the return of the popular team builder, with many wondering how it works. returns with the best of its previous iterations and the improvements has made since. However, the new title may feel different as it puts a premier focus on immersion and challenge. Ultimate Team even includes the ability to use certain NFL Stars, an addition that may just make obsolete. This is even more important due to the shortcomings the professional series has had in recent releases.

Team Builder returns with a similar structure as the past but with much more advanced features, given the technological developments since. However, the system also comes with some limitations. Teams can only be built on the website with an internet connection, though it does seem like plans for an offline app are in the works. Also, as of now, custom teams can only be used in private Dynasty seasons or the Play Now mode.

Luckily, 's Team Builder has plenty of creative freedom for players. To start, teams pick out their names, logos, and colors. The Team Builder supplies a good number of logos, but custom ones can be used if they are appropriate and follow proper copyright laws. Teams also pick one of three brands, Under Armour, Nike, or Adidas, and this will affect what options are given for uniforms.

The Team Builder app can be accessed on the EA Sports College Football 25 website.

Teams can then create five uniforms for use: Home, Away, and three alternates. Every uniform allows for the helmet, jersey, pants, and socks to be edited. The first step of this is color, in which Team Builder has extreme creative freedom to pick/create whatever color is desired. Then, the Jersey can be edited based on which brand was previously chosen. These options include minor changes like stripes, stitches, and orientation, but they can make a huge difference in bringing these creations to life.
