The result is that many players will have lots of side content left unfinished as they approach the final boss of , and may wonder whether they'll have an opportunity to return to it after the credits roll. While does have a pretty robust postgame, there are some common RPG mechanics it's sorely missing. Here's everything to know about playing after beating the final boss.

Star Wars Outlaws focuses on a grimier, seedier side of the universe with a rich, detailed open world that features both new and legacy characters.

Thankfully, it's totally possible to keep playing after beating the final boss. Immediately after finishing the last mission and watching the final scenes, players can continue seeking out and completing side content much as they did before.

No content is locked by finishing the final mission — players can go on to complete anything they left unfinished before. That goes for story-focused, planet-specific, Syndicate, Merchant, and Expert quests, as well as one-and-done tasks like Contracts and mini-games. It's pretty similar to other open-world games in that way — the closest comparison would likely be Ubisoft's own series, most of whose titles similarly allow nigh-unlimited free roam after finishing their final quests.
