Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile releases worldwide today

Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile is being released worldwide today.

While the game’s official launch date is March 21, 2024, Activision began rolling it out regionally on Wednesday, meaning it’s already live in some countries.

“For players where Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile is already available, you may experience some delays with matchmaking and connectivity as our servers come online,” it said.

“Hang tight, we’re still rolling out globally and this will be resolved soon.”

Officially revealed in September 2022, the iOS and Android game is co-developed by Activision’s Shanghai, Beenox, Digital Legends and Solid State studios.

A limited release for the title began in Australia in November 2022, before rolling out to other countries including Chile, Norway and Sweden last year.

Warzone Mobile also features classic Call of Duty multiplayer action across several maps and modes.

Maps include Shipment, Shoot House and Scrapyard, while modes include Team Deathmatch, Domination, Kill Confirmed and Search & Destroy, including Hardcore variants.

“Just about every element in the controls interface can be customized to your liking, including extensive HUD adjustments, detailed controller settings, and graphical options that prioritize performance, graphics, or a balanced mix,” according to Activision.

Warzone Mobile supports shared progression with the console and PC versions of Warzone and Modern Warfare 3. This includes player XP, weapon level and Battle Pass progression.

After logging in using an Activision ID, “most content acquired in Modern Warfare III and Call of Duty: Warzone is seamlessly transferred and becomes continuously available between your games”, the
