Black Myth: Wukong - How To Find & Beat Red Loong (Secret Boss)

features a secret Yaoguai King boss named Red Loong that you can find, but this opponent is one of the hardest to beat in the game. Alongside three other hidden Kings, Red Loong is an agile red dragon with power over divine lightning. Before you can even fight this beast, you must first discover a hidden path unlocked through another boss fight.

Red Loong is found in Chapter 1, but you cannot access its boss fight until you have already completed the Chapter. The arena of Red Loong can only be accessed with an item called the Loong Scales, which can be found in Chapter 2. Thankfully, you can go back to areas within previous Chapters in even as you reach new sections of the game.

Black Myth: Wukong's difficulty can seem intimidating, but there's more to the level of challenge in the action game than a focus on punishment.

You can get the Loong Scales in Chapter 2 to find Red Loong, but only after you have beaten the King of Flowing Sands boss. This enemy in Chapter 2 blocks the way forward into many of the regions you can explore within the Chapter. Once you have opened up the way forward, go to the Valley of Despair to challenge another enemy residing in the desert wastes.

As you travel in Chapter 2, try to help out the NPC Xu Dog, who can help you craft medicines in to help create restorative consumables. Eventually, he can also make elixirs that help permanently boost stats.

In the Valley, you will fight the First Prince of the Flowing Sands, another boss close to the area's Keeper Shrine. This foe fights with the First Rat Prince, who you do not want to defeat first. As the Rat Prince helps the other boss, you need to bait them into ramming into a nearby stone wall to put a crack into it with their combined strength.

Doing this reveals a hidden passage to a cave with a chest containing the Loong Scales. You can enter this space once you defeat the bosses, but those who already beat the two Princes will have to find another way to break the wall. You can use
