Baldur's Gate 3: Every Permanent Buff And How To Get It

gives characters the opportunity to gain permanent buffs in each of the game's three acts. The effects of each buff vary greatly, from gaining the ability to summon a familiar or getting a bonus point to put towards a character's stats. However, a lot of these permanent buffs are easy to miss, especially during a first playthrough of .

Most permanent buffs in are hidden in side quests, and behind specific dialogue choices. Additionally, some buffs are indefinite if the member with them doesn't die. However, those won't be included in this piece because they last an indefinite time, but aren't necessarily permanent if they can be removed by death.

Act 1 has themost permanent buffs available, but quite a few of them are rather hidden away, such as Auntie Ethel's Hair or Find Familiar: Cheeky Quasit. Others are the most well-known, like Find Familiar: Scratch or Volo's Ersatz Eye. However, the table below includes a full list, along with what they do and where to get each one.
