AEW Fight Forever Adding WWE Hall of Famer in Season 4

WWE Hall of Famer Adam Copeland is heading to AEW Fight Forever as part of its Season 4 DLC content updates. The wrestler known to WWE fans as Edge is only one small part of the new season, but he is arguably the most well-known wrestler coming to AEW Fight Forever Season 4.

Debuting with WWE (then WWF) in 1996, Copeland rose to prominence as a member of The Brood with Gangrel and fellow current AEW star Christian Cage. Since that time, he racked up 31 championship runs in WWE, including a record seven runs with the World Heavyweight Championship, five with the WWE Championship, and 14 different tag team title runs, seven with Christian as his partner. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2011 after retiring due to a neck injury but continued to make live televised appearances for WWE before returning to in-ring action in 2020. Copeland left WWE in late 2023 and made the jump to AEW on October 1 of that year, where he is the current AEW TNT Champion.

Copeland's arrival in AEW Fight Forever was announced on the game's official YouTube Channel in a video announcing the start of the new season on May 8. Season 4 also brings former AEW World Champion Samoa Joe to the game, as previously announced in late April, as well as Bullet Club Gold leader Jay White. While Samoa Joe is currently available through the World War Joe Pack, no release dates have been announced for the other two wrestlers coming to the game.

Although debuting with mixed to average reviews when it released in June 2023, AEW Fight Forever has been steadily improving its product through additions in its DLC packs. AEW Fight Forever had a roster of 51 wrestlers at launch but has steadily added 13 more names to its list, adding popular wrestlers like The Acclaimed, Swerve Strickland, Toni Storm, and Danhausen to its list of playable characters.

In addition to his wrestling accolades, fans of Copeland may also recognize him from his non-wrestling television career, which includes playing Ares In Perc
