A Lego Shadow the Hedgehog bust is coming in October

A Lego Shadow the Hedgehog bust is coming in October, the company has announced.

The new Lego set will retail for $69.99/£69.99 and release on October 1.

This is the latest in the growing line of Lego Sonic the Hedgehog sets. These sets include several interconnected playsets, as well as dioramas aimed at older fans.

“Adult gaming enthusiasts can share their passion for the Ultimate Lifeform with this collectible Shadow the Hedgehog (77000) buildable Lego display gift model,” reads the set’s official description.

“This authentically detailed model kit captures the bold coloring and fierce expression of Shadow, an iconic character from the Sonic the Hedgehog™ video game franchise. The buildable display set features Shadow’s head and a nameplate, plus Easter eggs hidden in both the head and the sturdy stand.”

Shadow will take a starring role in both the upcoming Sonic video game and movie.

Sonic X Shadow Generations will be released on October 25 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Switch, PS4, Xbox One and PC. Sonic X Shadow Generations is an updated version of the 2011 platformer Sonic Generations.

The original game sees Sonic and friends teaming up with their past selves, with the game playing out across two styles of gameplay: ‘classic’, which is mostly side-scrolling, and ‘modern’, which features 3D levels.

The third Sonic the Hedgehog movie, which stars Shadow alongside Sonic, is planned for release in Decemeber.
