A Bunch of EA Games Just Got Added to the Epic Games Store

The Epic Games Store recently saw the addition of several older games from EA, including multiple entries from the Need for Speed and Battlefield franchises. Standing as one of the most popular online marketplaces for games, Epic Games has often looked for ways to help its storefront stand out from major competitors like Steam. Epic Games regularly features free games for users to claim through the storefront, often giving away popular games like The Outer Worlds and Fallout: New Vegas. Now, the storefront has added multiple EA games to its lineup.

EA has been no stranger to collaborations with popular online marketplaces throughout its life, both through its own subscription service and collaborating with others. EA Play offers access to a wide range of games from the developer, featuring both major franchises like The Sims and Battlefield as well as its library of EA Sports games. Fans who are subscribed to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass even gain free membership to EA Play as part of their Game Pass subscription. Now, fans using the Epic Games Store are gaining access to a plethora of classic EA games.

A recent update to the Epic Games Store saw a collection of ten different games from EA added to the online storefront. Need for Speed and Battlefield serve as some of the biggest highlights of EA's new Epic Games Store offerings, with three Battlefield games and five Need for Speed games among the selection. Dead Space also saw two of its classic entries introduced to the store, with both the original Dead Space and Dead Space 2 added.The Deluxe edition of Need for Speed Heat comes as the only full-priced game added, with the others topping out at $40.
