We've officially hit the endgame of big damage numbers in Diablo 4, folks. Thanks to a busted combo in the action RPG's latest PTR server, one dedicated player cooked up the biggest number the game can feasibly handle, and then blew straight past it into the realm of literal infinity. The game just throws out the symbol for infinity instead of an actual damage number, like a white flag in the face of unfathomable DPS.
The impossible has been achieved in Diablo 4: no more numbers. One barbarian player has discovered a bug that allows barbarians to deal so much damage that the game just stops calculating it. And, ironically, it was done in the update meant to squish all the damage numbers down to be more legible.
Lost Boys Interactive, an Embracer-owned support studio for Diablo 4, Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, and PUBG, has been hit with another round of layoffs. The total number of affected employees is 139, and according to the studio's website, there were around 200 employees before the layoffs.
Embracer studio Lost Boys Interactive has undergone a second round of layoffs, saying in a message posted to LinkedIn that it «has made the very difficult decision to reduce our overall headcount.»
