To the disappointment of many fans, Larian Studios has announced that it won't be making despite winning 2023's Game of the Year award with the third entry in the series. Still, that doesn't mean the Belgium-based studio is sitting on its hands and indulging in the success of its biggest game to date. Instead, it is hard at work on a pair of new projects and has opened a studio in Warsaw, Poland, to facilitate this, promising games that will eclipse even, which is quite the claim.

Baldur's Gate 3 developer Larian Studios opened a new operation in Warsaw earlier this month to help support the development of «two very ambitious RPGs.» There's just one problem: Warsaw, the capital of Poland, is already home to one of the world's most ambitious RPG studios, CD Projekt. Today, Baldur's Gate 3 developer Larian Studios announced the opening of a new office in Warsaw, Poland. Swen Vincke, CEO of Larian Studios, said:
Larian Studios kinda knocked it out of the park with Baldur's Gate 3—and while it'll be leaving Dungeons & Dragons for some time, I'm nonetheless hyped beyond belief to see what Swen Vincke & Co. are cooking.
Continuing to ride upon the high that was , developer Larian Studios is expanding as it opens an entirely new studio to assist with the development of its new projects. Following the news that the veteran role-playing game team would not be returning to the Forgotten Realms for, Larian has promised fans that it has no intention to leave the genre behind but is instead focusing on new ideas. Some were disappointed by the announcement but given the developer's track record, a fresh IP will likely be just as enjoyable.
Activision is known as the Call of Duty publisher, but now it’s trying something different. The company announced Thursday that it’s formed a new internal studio called Elsewhere Entertainment that is dedicated to developing a “new narrative-based and genre-defining AAA franchise.”
