Bungie Celebrates 10 Years of Destiny, Shares Codename: Frontiers Details

Today is a momentous occasion for Bungie and Destiny fans, as the franchise is officially 10 years old. On September 9, 2014, Bungie released Destiny, a sci-fi MMO where players could become Guardians and explore the online universe. Just three years later, Destiny was closed down and replaced with Destiny 2, where the game was initially released as a pay-to-play game. However, it soon became free-to-play in 2019, where the game has received many expansions, such as Curse of Osiris, Warmind, Forsaken, and The Witch Queen, to name a few. The most recent expansion was called The Final Shape, which became the fuel to change the seasonal model. To celebrate the anniversary of Destiny as a franchise, players will be able to get nostalgic in-game armor and physical products and look at some art to revel in the nostalgia. Additionally, Bungie has provided details on Codename: Frontiers, the future of Destiny 2.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Reckoning of New York just feels like the adventures of the World of Darkness' most annoying kindred

Here's a thing about me: I loved Vampire: The Masquerade – Shadows of New York, the sequel to 2019's good-but-not-great visual novel Coteries of New York. Its blend of excellent art, a killer soundtrack, and writing that—so far as I'm concerned—captured the true, stifling horror of the World of Darkness struck me so hard that it inspired my first-ever published piece of games writing, effectively putting me where I am today.

No thoughts, no feelings, only Temple Run: Legends

When I’m riding on the New York City subway, I’m almost always playing a game on my Steam Deck or Nintendo Switch. I still haven’t gotten over the novel appeal of getting to take a complicated, graphically intense game like Elden Ring on the go. I’m spoiled, but sometimes I can’t help but glimpse at the grass on the other side. Sometimes I’ll notice a fellow commuter playing a simple mobile game like Subway Surfers.
