XDefiant Season 1 revealed ahead of July launch

Ubisoft has announced details of XDefiant Season 1 with a new trailer.

The trailer above, which premiered during Monday’s Ubisoft Forward showcase, confirmed a July 2 launch for the shooter’s first season.

It will introduce a new faction, GSK from Team Rainbow, plus three free new weapons.

There will also be one new map added to the game each month in the form of Clubhouse, Daytona and Rockefeller.

Capture the flag will be introduced as a new game mode too.

Ubisoft Forward was also used to premiere 10 minutes of Star Wars Outlaws footage and 13 minutes of Assassin’s Creed Shadows gameplay.

Elsewhere, Ubisoft announced plans to release story DLC for Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown in September, and revealed a 2026 release window for its long-in-development Prince of Persia The Sands of Time remake.

The first story DLC for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora will launch next month too.
