Xbox Game Pass Is Getting An Underrated Free Game On July 3

Game Pass subscribers should mark their calendars, because they'll have access to an underrated platform fighter on July 3. Microsoft's subscription service allows players to download and stream a multitude of games for a monthly fee. While Game Pass gets its share of day-one releases, it also acts as an extensive collection of classic games. Amid the greatest hits from previous Xbox generations, there's also the occasional hidden gem. And later this week, there'll be at least one more.

According to a post on the official Xbox Wire blog, will be available on Game Pass beginning July 3, 2024. A platform fighter featuring 29 playable characters, allows players to duke it out between their favorite Nicktoons. It comes to the service alongside a plethora of other overlooked titles:,, and, to name a few. Players who subscribe to Game Pass can access for download and streaming on PC and Xbox consoles at no additional fee.

was overlooked for many reasons. For one thing, it came out just two years after the original, and so was somewhat overshadowed by its own predecessor. It also got somewhat lost in the glut of big profile, crossover platform fighters that came out around the same time, muddied by things like stealing its thunder.
