Xbox Game Pass Confirms 5 More Games for January, 2 for February

The Xbox Game Pass additions keep rolling in with the new year, with January 16 seeing Resident Evil 2 and Those Who Remain join Microsoft's subscription service, and even more is on the horizon. Alongside their additions, Microsoft took the time to confirm the next five games coming to Xbox Game Pass in January, as well as the two coming in February.

Interestingly, four of the seven aforementioned games are day-one additions to Xbox Game Pass. Between these games, major hitters like Resident Evil 2 in January and Persona 3 Reload in February, and all the other quality additions, it's clear that Xbox Game Pass is kicking off the new year on the right foot.

Xbox Game Pass' list of confirmed games for January 2024, as of January 16, includeTurnip Boy Robs a Bank, F1 23, Palworld, Go Mecha Ball, and Brotato. February 2024 will kick off with the highly-anticipated Persona 3 Reload and Anuchard (all via Xbox Wire). Turnip Boy's sequel features him performing a heist, if the name wasn't clear enough, while F1 23 is a racing simulator joining via Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Palworld is an interesting Pokemon clone, but one with a much darker-than-normal approach, earning it the nickname «Pokemon with Guns.»

Go Mecha Ball and Brotato will wrap up January, minus any surprises, and the former is a popular roguelike twin-stick shooter with an arcade vibe, for anyone wanting something modern yet nostalgic. Brotatois a top-down rogue-lite shooter where players, as a potato, fight off aliens with six weapons all at once.

Finally, taking Xbox Game Pass subscribers into February is Persona 3 Reload, a highly-anticipated remake of P3. Given the popularity of Persona 5, but also how it serves as an entry point for the franchise,P3R should be welcoming to many players and hopefully serve as a way to get more into the franchise as a whole. Meanwhile, Anuchard is an indie action RPG with a unique art style, a fun premise, and a reward gameplay loop, to bring it all together.
