WWE 2K24 Standard, Deluxe, & Forty Years of WrestleMania Edition Differences

The differences between editions of have been announced ahead of its upcoming release date. This is the latest installment in the wrestling franchise's video game series, which has operated on an annual release schedule since 2000. As always, includes updates to reflect the current state of the WWE roster, incremental graphical improvements, and, sometime after release, a series of DLC packs including new and historic WWE wrestlers from across WWE's decades of history. also celebrates the fortieth anniversary of WrestleMania, WWE's biggest and most consequential yearly pay-per-view event.

Revealed at the 2024 Royal Rumble, the follow-up to the critically acclaimed is available in four editions: Standard, Deluxe, Forty Years of WrestleMania, and Cross-Gen. As is par for the course with games and most major releases in general, each edition differs in what it includes, with more complete (and often more expensive) editions being bundled in with various in-game bonuses. These editions also differ slightly in which platforms they're available for, which formats they come in, and when they come out. Here are all the editions of, and what's inside each.

will be released on March 8, 2024, for multiple platforms: PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. However, depending on the edition purchased, some content may only become available at a post-release date to be determined. Pre-orders are already available for all editions, and can be made either through a platform-specific digital store, the official 2K online store, or the game retailer of the player's choice.

The Standard Edition of features cover star Cody Rhodes, who had his WWE debut in 2006, and recently returned to the promotion after a stint as executive vice president of All Elite Wrestling. It's available in physical and digital editions for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S, but is exclusive to digital via Steam on PC.
