Catching Sibelyx in is a great strategy if you want to improve your overall productivity in the game, mainly due to the Pal’s bonuses and abilities that are directly linked to crafting and base maintenance. The Ice-type creature is very good once you have progressed into the game and have expanded your base, as Sibelyx can grant you bonuses to your Work Speed. It is also capable of working with certain elements of your base, including Medicine Workbenches, Ranches, and Food Storage Units. Its versatility within base structures in makes it a good companion to capture.

To catch it, however, you will need to go to specific locations within the Palapagos Islands, as they are not present across all the islands. This Ice-type Pal can even prove to be a challenge when battling in the open-world map, especially in its level 40 Alpha Boss form, but it is possible to find it in its regular form in other areas. Curiously enough, despite the combat challenge it may present, Sibelyx is not one of the strongest Pals in , instead being a better fit for farming activities.

There are, in essence, two distinct locations where you may find Sibelyx to catch. As is highlighted in the Pal’s entry on Game8, the level 40 Alpha Boss form of Sibelyx can be found in the Frostbound Mountains, slightly northwest of the Free Pall Alliance Tower. For further reference, Alpha Sibelyx can be found to the west of the lake in Frostbound Mountains. This is considered a boss fight, so you will have a tough fight ahead of you, especially if you only intend on weakening Sibelyx enough to catch it in .

Alternatively, you can catch Sibelyx in its regular form without an Alpha Boss fight once you gain access to the Astral Mountains region. This zone is the northwesternmost portion of the Palapagos Islands and is represented by a vast snowy landscape.
