Watch: Here’s 20 minutes of exclusive Star Wars Outlaws gameplay

VGC recently got the chance to play four hours of a near-final build of Star Wars Outlaws.

Below, you can check out 20 minutes of the game in 4K, with the option to watch the gameplay with, or without our preview impressions.

Star Wars Outlaws will be released on August 30 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.

Alongside this brand new gameplay, VGC has published a deep dive preview into the game’s opening hours, including how the game’s open world functions, the role of factions in the game, and the relationship between Kay Vess and her companion Nix.

During an interview with VGC, the actor behind Kay Vess has said she’d “absolutely” like to adapt the character to live action, should the opportunity arise.

Star Wars Outlaws is being developed by Massive Entertainment, the team behind The Division. The game, which is Ubisoft‘s first attempt at a Star Wars game in over 20 years, is being pitched as the first open-world Star Wars game, allowing players to visit several planets, and fly between them across space.

The game is set between Star Wars Episode 5: The Empire Strikes Back and Star Wars Episode 6: Return of the Jedi, covering a one year period between the films.
