Warframe Staff Reveals Intel’s 14th & 13th Gen CPUs Responsible For Instability Issues, i9-13900K Takes Up A Major Portion

The creators of Warframe have showcased their findings on Intel's CPU instability issues, revealing that 14th Gen & 13th Gen chips are responsible for major game crashes.

Intel's 14th Gen & 13th Gen CPUs Start Plaguing The Gaming Industry With Frequent Crashes & Instable Performance, Warframe Creators Share Their Findings

Well, it looks like the Intel 14th & 13th Gen CPU fiasco has now gone beyond individual communities, as game developers have started to talk about how Intel's Core i9 chips have bothered their user base massively.

Just recently, we reported on a disclosure by Alderon Games, where the founder of the studio urged its users to switch to alternative CPUs, such as those from AMD, to prevent them from being victims of game crashes and unstable performance. Now, the devs behind Warframe have disclosed the percentage of Intel CPUs responsible for game crashes, and it doesn't look too good.

The developers from Warframe compiled the data of various Intel CPUs, which showed the "nvgpucomp64.dll" error code, which is an error state of NVIDIA drivers, likely occurring when the processor is in a "power hungry" state and being pushed hard. The data showed that Intel's Core i9-13900K accounted for 29.5% of game crashes with the error code, while the Intel Core i9-14900K and the Core i9-14900KF had up to 34% of the portion combined. The rest of the share lay with multiple models, such as the Core i7-14700K, but the common trend present was that 13th Gen & 14th Gen CPUs were vulnerable to the problem.

Interestingly, a staff member from Warframe encountered the same error code as well, so they decided to debug the problem, only finding out that the crashes were associated with the onboard Intel CPU since the error code refers to a state where the GPU is "working very hard on all CPU-cores," which means that power consumption
