Warframe Adds Protea Prime, With a Versatile Time-Altering Kit

Protea Prime has arrived in Warframe, bringing her time twisting ancient tech in a brand new way. Protea Prime Access means new weapons, and additional cosmetics available to collect.

This latest release features her signature weapons: Velox Prime, a single-handed pistol and dual daggers, Okina Prime. 

It is Velox Prime that affects time, but her blades are good for slashing at enemies. Switch between attack and defensive modes and back up your combat with grenades, plasma cannons, and even toss health and energy pickups out for allies. Or, you know, rewind time a bit and give it another try. Refreshed temporal tactics are her signature. Her kit is versatile for various situations you’ll find yourself in. 

With the arrival of the Prime version, she'll have increased energy, more armor, and two special slots. One additional Polarity slot and one Universal Aura mod slot. Gauss Prime Access has come to an end and Khora Prime went back into the vault. Prime Resurgence Rotations are an option in the future though.

You can get started by collecting the Protea Prime blueprint and components and earn her for free or take advantage of new shop bundles. Protea Prime has several cosmetic options, including the Chronorum Helmet, Temporal Prime Ephemera energy aura, and the Rhoptrop Syandana back piece.

Protea Prime even gets a new cinematic launch trailer after previous teases, including at the most recent dev stream that also looked ahead to 1999 and Jade Shadows.
