Until Dawn 2 Just Got A Whole Lot More Likely

fans may be enjoying the recently revamped version of the beloved horror game but it sounds like the cast is already thinking about the future. Supermassive's excellent pastiche of slasher movies has become a cult classic and with the remake currently doing solid numbers on PC, it seems fair to say that interest in the franchise has never been higher. It's been nearly a decade since the original game released on PlayStation 4 and while there hasn't been word on a sequel in years, that's quickly changing.

Posted to X (formerly Twitter) by user Okami13_, the fan points out thattwo of the game's actors have subtlety dropped hints that a sequel is in development.

Speaking during a bonus interview included in the remake, Hayden Panettiere says, when speaking about fans' passion for, that "," which could be a hint of a follow-up project. This was followed by Peter Stormare, known for his excellent portrayal of Dr. Alan Hill, posting a faux newspaper headline relating to the remake «confirming» the existence of a sequel.

Aside from Panettiere and Stormare's comments on a potential sequel, the remake goes so far as to imply that the game's story will continue. The revamped version of the game contains two additional endings that set the stage for another chapter. If players are careful with their decisions, the game can conclude with an implication that Josh, the person responsible for terrorizing his group of friends, survives his encounter with the Wendigo; Additionally, a post-credits scene depicts Panettiere's character Samantha several years after the game's story concludes, demonstrating her struggle with post-traumatic stress disorder.
