Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth: PS5 Pro vs PS5 — A Vast Improvement At 60FPS
Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered is real. We haven't got an official announcement from Sony and Guerrilla Games yet, but the ESRB has already rated the game for PlayStation 5 and PC, hinting at an imminent release:
Alongside the announcement of the PS5 Pro, Sony confirmed thirteen games that will be optimized for the new console: Alan Wake 2, Assassin’s Creed: Shadows, Demon’s Souls, Dragon’s Dogma 2, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, Gran Turismo 7, Hogwarts Legacy, Horizon Forbidden West, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, The Crew Motorfest, The First Descendant, and The Last of Us Part II Remastered.
Benjamin Franklin once said that three may keep a secret so long as none of them is a videogame age-rating board, and he was right. The ESRB, whose main purpose is preventing children from being exposed to too much drugs and violence and whose covert second purpose is undercutting publisher marketing campaigns, has once again leaked a release ahead of its announcement. This time it's, uh, Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered. Wait, what?
A Horizon Zero Dawn remaster has appeared on game rating site the ESRB.
We assume that Grand Theft Auto 6 is coming to PC, although it's so far only been announced for consoles, and we've also recently seen signs that the 14-year-old Old West adventure Red Dead Redemption is finally headed our way too. Today we got more—not evidence exactly, but signs that it's happening courtesy of the new addition of BattlEye anti-cheat software to GTA Online.
In newly reported data, it's revealed that Microsoft managed to shift 28.3 million Xbox Series X and S consoles worldwide as of June 24, which is less than half of Sony's previously known 61.7 million PS5s sold in the same timeframe.
It sounds like we’re going to learn more about a next-generation PlayStation sooner rather than later.
