The PlayStation 6 may be backward compatible, according to a new report. The PS6 is still far in the future, with a predicted release of 2027 or 2028, but rumors about it are already floating around.

However, according to a new report, multiple processor companies competed for the chip contract, including Intel, which ultimately lost to AMD over disputes about profit margins.
