There are a total of six chapters in with over 100 bosses and some optional bosses like the Scorpionlord. Each chapter gets harder, and bosses are more difficult to beat. Some bosses are mandatory, while others are optional, but all will give special rewards. In Chapter 4, players can choose to go against an optional boss called Scorpionlord.

This feeling of confinement is seen through doors sealed with purple magic preventing you from finding a way out of the region's large jail. Important characters and useful loot are found past these doors, but only when you defeat a powerful boss.
Six secret areas can be found in as you explore different Chapters, but you have to complete different tasks to enter these hidden locations. One of the game's endings is tied to the discovery of every secret zone, so you'll want to find each one at some point.
