Ember Lab's Kena: Bridge of Spirits will finally launch on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and Xbox One in a few months, almost three years since its release on PlayStation consoles and PC.
A new Tomb Raider UE5 cinematic video has been released featuring fan favorites Angelina Jolie and Christoph Waltz.
Fans of the Batman: Arkham series have not exactly been in a great place following the release of Rocksteady Studios’ severely disappointing Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, but there may be a sliver of hope for those wishing the spirit of the Arkham games would live on. Last year, we learned that Rocksteady Studios co-founders Sefton Hill and Jamie Walker had left the company. Hill served as director for all three Arkham Trilogy games and Jamie Walker was Rocksteady’s studio director, so they weren’t just a pair of suits, but rather the main creative force at the developer. Rockstar co-founder and veteran Red Dead Redemption and Grand Theft Auto lead Dan Houser seems to be working on a lot of things at his new studio, Absurd Ventures, and one of them is a new sci-fi IP that might just be the setting of the big open-world action game that just got outed in a job listing.
After a 2023 packed with generation-defining games, it felt like 2024 might be more of a comedown. There weren’t a lot of big new releases scheduled to drop outside of a busy first few months, and heavy hitters like Grand Theft Auto 6 aren’t arriving until 2025. Traditional wisdom would have you thinking that gamers were in for a very slow year with few highlights.
