Today's Wordle Hints & Answer - March 9, 2024 (Puzzle #994)

March 9’s may throw many players off if they don’t use hints, as the answer contains a repeating letter. While the answer is a fairly common word, the repeating letters also happen to be vowels. Using random guesses will not get you far unless you use hints or strategic starting words to discover their correct positions.

Since there are no specific hints for repeating letters, you should try using ’s hard mode. This mode isn’t as challenging as the name suggests but is slightly more time-consuming. As this mode doesn’t let players reuse confirmed letters in other spots, you won’t be able to use random guesses. This works out well for answers that contain repeating letters or obscure spellings.

If you haven’t started today’s yet, we recommend using three starting words that should give you a fair idea about the answer. These starting words share a consonant, vowel, or letter with today’s answer and should give you an excellent start. However, there are three levels of difficulty regarding these starting words, i.e., challenging to easy. The easy suggested word will give you the most information about the answer or have multiple things in common.
