As the popularity of daily games continues to bloom there seems to be new ones everywhere you look. Games like, ,, and even are the perfect way to start the day. A nice cup of coffee and a few short puzzles can get the brain moving and prepare you for the rest of your morning.

Strands is one of New York Times' many puzzle games that consists of a unique 6x8 word search that requires players to use zig-zag solutions.

Below are the daily categories for today's for those who don't wish to be spoiled right away, but still need a little help.

In fact, the only thing we got correct in today's collection was the blue record-themed category.

MOUNT ___

OLYMPUS

WHITNEY

I think the photography-themed misdirection really took a toll on our guesses and set us up for the perfect storm of failure. FUJI, OLYMPUS, POLAROID, and CANON all have to do with cameras in some way or another. When that showed failure we thought maybe OLYMPUS was wrong and tried to fit in OEUVRE, because it's a made-up word that no one has ever heard of ever.

Another clone of the popular word puzzle game Wordle has arrived, this time putting a battle royale-style spin on the viral letter game.
