The Witcher 3 New Mod Allows Creation of Custom Characters, Introduces New Combat Style

A new The Witcher 3 mod that was released online only a couple of days ago introduces the ability to create fully customizable custom characters, among other things.

The Custom Player Characters mod, which can be downloaded from Nexus Mods, allows users to create Witcher, Witcheress, and Sorceress characters with fully customizable appearances. In addition, the mod introduces a new magic combat style and a new questline for the Sorceress character type, which is fully voiced. Additionally, the Witcheress character type comes with some new animations based on Geralt's animations.

The Witcher 3 Player Characters mod was made possible by the release of the REDkit official mod editor, which gives users the same tools CD Projekt Red used to create the game. Thanks to this mod editor, it was also possible to restore some of the game's cut content, such as boat races.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt brought Geralt of Rivia's story to an end, and it looks like players won't be able to return to the Continent very soon. The next entry in the series, currently only known by its Polaris codename, had yet to enter full production as of March 2024. The remake of the first entry in the series, in development by Fool's Theory, was still in the concept stage, so it will definitely be a while until the popular series makes its return.
