The latest PS5 update includes new party and audio features

Sony has rolled out a new PlayStation 5 system software update.

According to the platform holder, Version 24.01-08.60.00 add new party and audio features, plus other improvements.

In the Parties tab, players can now view a list of recently joined parties and restart one of them by selecting it.

The update also adds equaliser settings, a sidetone feature, and additional enhancements for Pulse Explore earbuds and the upcoming Pulse Elite headset.

Earlier this week, Sony revealed the most downloaded PlayStation Store games of 2023.

The company published separate top 20 charts for PS4 and PS5 in both the US/Canada and Europe.

It also released top ten charts for PlayStation VR games, PlayStation VR2 titles and free-to-play games in each region.
