The latest Princess Peach Showtime trailer reveals 4 more transformations

A new Princess Peach Showtime trailer has been released, revealing four more character transformations.

It was already known that Peach can transform into a kung fu fighter, a detective, a pastry chef, a swordfighter, a ninja and a cowgirl.

The latest trailer for the game, which is viewable above, shows that she can also turn into a figure skater, a dashing thief, a mermaid, and mighty Peach to complete various objectives.

“In Princess Peach: Showtime, Peach teams up with Stella, the Sparkle Theater’s guardian, to save the theater from the wicked Grape and the Sour Bunch,” according to an official description of the game.

“Using the power of Sparkle, Peach must take the stage of each show, transform and confront Grape’s evil acting troupe.”

Showtime marks the second time Peach has starred in her own game, the first being Super Princess Peach on the Nintendo DS.

The 2005 title was a 2D platformer in which Peach could use her emotions as powers – for example, by crying, she could water beanstalks to make them grow.

Nintendo UK recently confirmed several Princess Peach Showtime pre-order bonuses ahead of the Switch exclusive’s release on March 22, 2024.

A new Pastel Pink Joy-Con set will launch alongside Princess Peach Showtime next month.
