The Seattle portion of 's story feels like a small open world where Ellie and Dina can explore the destroyed metropolis for supplies by learning every code to areas locked by gates. The long highway and compact buildings create a large space to track down various items. However, the only clue to reaching these spots is through a hidden area somewhere in the city.

Although Ellie and Dina arrive in Seattle on horses, you won't be able to barge through gates without searching a bit on foot. Finding a map of Seattle should be your goal if you want to stock up on supplies available in this area of. Be careful as you travel, and ensure not to disturb infected or other enemies as you investigate different buildings.

Grabbing the Seattle map reveals both an image of the larger city and a grid of Downtown where you and Dina can go to figure out each gate code. Scale the front gate of the area and look for an office trailer nearby.
