The Game Awards 2024 date confirmed for December

The Game Awards 2024 has been set for Thursday, December 12, the event’s organisers announced on Tuesday.

The event’s 10th anniversary gala celebration will again take place at its traditional venue of the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, California, and be streamed live on various platforms.

Public tickets for The Game Awards 2024 will go on sale on November 1.

The Game Awards debuted in 2014 with 1.9 million viewers and has grown every year since. Over the last few years, the event appears to have established itself as the most-watched awards show in the world.

The Game Awards 2023 broke the event’s viewership record with an estimated 118 million livestreams.

The 2023 event, which also took place at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, was a major production featuring musical performances, celebrity guests, a host of game reveals and an awards show.
