Gunn previously announced that he would produce a new Supergirl film, and the new actor who will portray the female superhero will reportedly debut in Superman: Legacy before starring in her own film Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow. Fans have been clamoring to know who will play the titular superhero, and there are reports that Donnelly could land the role.
