Stardew Valley Player's Farm Accidentally Becomes A Creepypasta Horror Story

Despite its overwhelmingly wholesome energy, has managed to send shivers down its community's collective spine after one fan discovered a particularly creepy glitch. It's very rare to encounter anything genuinely scary within the idyllic hamlet of Pelican Town but every so often, a strange incident breaks through the calm and reminds residents that there are odd creatures milling about the woods. The strange moaning sound that triggers during the rain isn't the only odd piece of audio that can be discovered during one's adventures throughout.

Posted to Reddit by mak0vka, the user shared a clip of their game where the audio became corrupted and the result is genuinely unsettling.

Every sound effect and music track is garbled and messy and while everything is still recognizable for those with experience in the game, it also feels wrong and out of place.Many commentators were quick to point out that the broken audio makes the game sound similar to a creepypasta video or a piece of lost media, a type of horror that's known for incorporating and remixing popular pieces of music into eerie replicas.
