Stardew Valley Player Experiences Incredibly Rare Scenario That May Never Happen Again

One unfortunate player experienced a rare scenario that put them between a rock and a hard place, with only one possible solution to their problem. has random occurrences that happen throughout the game, and some experiences are rarer than others. Players who are keen on timing and knowledge of these events may have the ability to trigger certain events because of actions, but others might be harder to come by. Some rare items, like Legendary Fish that can be caught in , are all dependent on seasons, weather, and time of day.

The situation that Reddit user Key_Purchase_5103 is an extremely rare one, given the fact that it occurs in only about 1% of playthroughs, plus the configuration of their farm makes it even rarer. Their unique event just so happened to be the iridium meteorite, but when it landed, it blocked the path that leads to the rest of Pelican Town and their farm.

They mentioned that their home was set up on the Meadowlands Farm, near Grandpa's Statue, and thus surrounded completely by water with only one way in and out. The only way to leave is to walk over the plank, which the meteorite is blocking.

One lucky Stardew Valley player may have uncovered the rarest item in the game and the community is confused as to how it was even possible.

The biggest problem in this scenario was the fact that they didn't have a Gold Pickaxe, which is the only way to break the meteorite. Fortunately, they were playing on the computer and, with the help of the community on Reddit, figured out the best way around this immovable boulder was by going through it. Players suggested using the "No Clip" mod, which allowed Key_Purchase_5103 to walk directly through it and retrieve their Gold Pickaxe to take care of it once and for all. Another player suggested a few commands that could be used to move the meteorite to different coordinates on the farm.
