Star Wars: The Old Republic 7.4.1, Coming March 12th, With Returning Gear as Rewards, and Convenience Droid

On Tuesday, March 12th,Star Wars: The Old Republic update 7.4.1, “Building a Foundation” is set to go live, and Broadsword is highlighting some of the highlights on the way.

Galactic Seasons 6 is on the way, along with the previously-announced arrival of Date Night companion missions. Those were announced when the team held an update reveal stream on Valentine's Day, as an appropriate addition on the way. Also announced during that stream was the opening of transfers to the Shae Vizla server for the first time, and a reward track that will feature a new Stronghold that you can unlock in Copero. With this, you’ll also get to unlock additional rooms within your stronghold through the completion of story missions offered through the season. Subscribers will get to unlock three additional rooms from the reward track, though the ability to buy unlocks is also planned.

Revealed in yesterday's most recent preview, were the addition of Ancient Armaments to daily login rewards. These will feature different armor appearances, including ones that you could not acquire or that were previously untradeable. These are for the Outfitter feature, and even if something was previously untradeable, one acquired through Ancient Armaments, will be both dyeable and tradable. 

There will also be a Galactic Trade Network Droid Legacy Unlock in Legacy perks. This is a practical Edition intended as a convenience unlock. At level one, pay 3.5m credits or 400 CCs and unlock the droid (with a 60 minute cooldown) that will let you reach the GTN at any time, without required travel.  There are three levels to upgrade to for a price, each lowering the cooldown. If you max out the droid, cooldown will be just 15 minutes. A convenient investment for those who make a killing in trades, and potentially useful with the newly-available gear that’s coming.
