Star Wars Outlaws-Themed Xbox Controllers Revealed

Star Wars Outlaws has revealed a pair of themed Xbox controllers fans can build in Xbox Design Labs. The best way for Xbox gamers to create personalized controllers, Xbox Design Labs allows users to customize every button on an Xbox controller with a vast array of available colors. The program even offers fully customizable Xbox Elite controllers with its own set of premium colors and textures.

Star Wars Outlaws is Ubisoft's next major title coming up later this year. The first-ever open-world Star Wars experience, Outlaws will plunge fans into the universe's criminal underworld as protagonist Kay Vess as she and her companion Nix face off against the Hutts and other dangerous crime syndicates. Most interestingly, Star Wars Outlaws will ambitiously allow seamless travel between a planet's surface and its orbit. Ubisoft recently confirmed Star Wars Outlaws' release date of August 30.

Ubisoft has revealed two different Star Wars Outlaws-themed Xbox controllers available for fans to build in Xbox Design Labs. The first one, a standard Xbox controller, recreates the color scheme of Star Wars Outlaws' cover art; black with orange thumbsticks and bumpers with a metallic teal D-Pad. The second design is for Xbox Elite controllers and features a lighter teal color for the body of the controller with white face buttons and sticks, along with a silver D-Pad. Fans can use the links included below to be brought to each of the controllers' Design Labs pages with the colors automatically applied.

While each color scheme is exclusive to its controller type, fans may still be able to circumvent this by selecting the colors manually for the controllers of their choice. Doing a set of Xbox Design Labs controllers rather than all-new limited edition ones is interesting, considering more gamers will be able to access them, and at the base Xbox Design Labs prices.
