It's been two years since we first checked out Anger Foot, which had actually already been around for a couple years at that point: It was originally created in a 2020 game jam and eventually moved into alpha testing in 2021. Now, courtesy of today's Devolver Direct, we've got a release date—it's coming to Steam on July 11.
A couple years ago, gameplay footage of a creepily realistic-looking bodycam shooter went viral. That game, called Unrecord, isn't out yet, but we now have our first taste of what it feels like to play a shooter from the warped perspective of a GoPro with a new FPS simply called Bodycam, which just released in early access on Steam. In my experience so far, it's more horror than tactics.

Revealed at today's Devolver showcase, Possessors—stylized as «Possessor(s)»—is yet another new game from Heart Machine, the creators of Hyper Light Drifter and Solar Ash. After pivoting to full 3D action for Solar Ash and the upcoming roguelike Hyper Light Breaker, the studio's gone back to its 2D action roots, but with a surprise twist: the singleplayer game will have combat inspired by platform fighters like Super Smash Bros and Multiversus.
