Ass-kicking FPS Anger Foot is coming in July: 'Shit City is a disease and your foot is the cure'

It's been two years since we first checked out Anger Foot, which had actually already been around for a couple years at that point: It was originally created in a 2020 game jam and eventually moved into alpha testing in 2021. Now, courtesy of today's Devolver Direct, we've got a release date—it's coming to Steam on July 11.

Bodycam is out now and feels more like a horror game than a competitive shooter

A couple years ago, gameplay footage of a creepily realistic-looking bodycam shooter went viral. That game, called Unrecord, isn't out yet, but we now have our first taste of what it feels like to play a shooter from the warped perspective of a GoPro with a new FPS simply called Bodycam, which just released in early access on Steam. What a killer year for roguelikes: Former Dead Cells developers are now competing against each other with 3 great-looking action games

Let's put aside Hades 2 as the obvious juggernaut of the roguelike world at the moment and reflect on the embarrassment of riches spewing forth from France in 2024. The Talos Principle 2: Road to Elysium sends the robot family on a literal Caribbean vacation, and no I am not kidding

I finished The Talos Principle 2 in 2023, but I've kept it installed on my PC in hopes that an expansion would someday be announced. Today my wish was granted: Road to Elysium is a three-part follow-on to Croteam's brilliant futuristic puzzle game, and it's coming next week.

Full campaign co-op soon arrives as a free bonus for one of Devolver's biggest hits

Cult of the Lamb is all about making friends, albeit that may be through forming a cult full of woodland critters, but that doesn't make it any less wholesome. I've got a great little team with members who would all die for me in a heartbeat, but it can still get lonely at the top. So I'm pretty excited at the prospect of sharing power in Unholy Alliance.

I was shocked to find out that not only is Hyper Light Drifter's studio working on a second new project, it's a return to 2D with action inspired by 'platform fighters' like Super Smash Bros

Revealed at today's Devolver showcase, Possessors—stylized as «Possessor(s)»—is yet another new game from Heart Machine, the creators of Hyper Light Drifter and Solar Ash. After pivoting to full 3D action for Solar Ash and the upcoming roguelike Hyper Light Breaker, the studio's gone back to its 2D action roots, but with a surprise twist: the singleplayer game will have combat inspired by platform fighters like Super Smash Bros and Multiversus.
