Sorry, Palworld Just Got A Whole Lot Harder

No one said would be easy, but as of now, it's harder than ever before. The new game puts an -like, survival twist on the classic monster-collecting formula. Between battling powerful Pals, keeping the base stocked, and just generally staying alive, it can prove a challenging experience, especially in the early game when players are still getting used to its many systems. It's still far from perfect, and very much in early access. But that's not always such a bad thing.

Cheats, exploits, and hidden features can make easier. By now, having played the launch version and the lightly patched version that came out on January 23, anyone who's stuck with the game since launch is probably used to all its quirks. They may have even gotten accustomed to exploiting a bug or two for their own personal benefit, whether they realize it or not. But all that is about to change — and it may already be too late for some users.

The patch, version 0.1.3.0, is live on Steam as of January 25, 2024, while version 0.1.1.2 will come to Xbox and PC Game Pass soon. Among other things, this patch fixes several bugs players may have exploited to make the game easier. This may include the infinite food hack, the use of Pal Spheres to inflict fall damage on bosses, and/or the item duplication glitch, but that isn't clear.
