Sony Could Be Bringing Back Its Best of PSN Collections

According to a new trademark filing, Sony could be looking to bring back The Best of PSN collections. The Best of PSN Volume 1 was published by Sony for the PS3 in 2013 and saw four of the most popular indie games on the PlayStation platform bundled together on a single Blu-Ray disc.

The Best of PSN Volume 1 disc contained a collection of four popular digital-only games; When Vikings Attack, Fat Princess, Sound Shapes, and the Sony-funded Tokyo Jungle. Most recently, Sony has filed a patent for a Holographic Display that could be implemented into the PlayStation ecosystem.

Gamers may have to wait to learn if Sony is bringing back the Best of PlayStation Network compilation series. For now, the Japanese company is focusing on providing games through the PlayStation Plus service which sees new games added monthly. For March 2024, the Extra tier added games including Blood Bowl 3, LEGO DC Supervillains, and Marvel’s Midnight Suns. The Premium tier further added retro titles including Cool Boarders, Gods Eater Burst, and Jak and
