Exploring the island's perilous zones uncovers valuable materials, many of which players might already possess, essential for crafting weaponry and armor.

Crafting items is a seamless process, managed within the player's inventory. As you collect a vast array of materials, you will begin to unlock recipes. You can then move items into the crafting zone to combine them.Hovering over the gear icon reveals possible recipes compatible with the selected item. By adding the required materials and clicking on the gear icon, you can craft the item, preparing it for use.

The most efficient ammunition for bows are Stone Arrows. These are easy to produce, requiring only x4 Small Stones, x2 Feathers, and x2 Sticks. Assembling a Time Bomb involves gathering rarer materials like Wire and Circuit Boards. Wire is typically found in storage containers or bunkers, particularly in a small cave west of the snow-capped mountains, and south of the island's dividing river.

This cave leads to a room containing a desk, laptop, and 3D Printer. Circuit Boards are found within electronic devices, again found in storage areas, tents, or cannibal camps. You can obtain them by smashing radios or laptops using a Tactical Axe.

Alternatively, you can discover powerful weapons that don't require crafting at all. A great find is the Pistol, found near the island's northwestern shore by a beach cove. Look for an orange raft bobbing in the water, reachable by a short swim, but be wary of sharks lurking in its vicinity.
