Sonic Superstars Players Can Get Another Costume in New Collab

Sonic Superstars players have the chance to unlock another costume, this time a retro outfit for Amy Rose. This latest costume being added to the game is part of a collaboration with IHOP and adds to the extensive list of cosmetics available for Sonic and his pals in Sonic Superstars.

Since its release in October 2023, Sega has added a variety of new content for Sonic Superstars, including new skins, costumes, and other cosmetics. For example, Sega added LEGO skins for Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy, along with a holiday costume for Sonic at the end of 2023. The developer even introduced a Shadow the Hedgehog Costume for Sonic to celebrate the announcement of Sonic x Shadow Generations, a remaster of 2011’s Sonic Generations with new levels featuring Shadow. Recently, Sega revealed it was not done supporting Sonic Superstars with new cosmetics.

As part of a collaboration with IHOP, a pancake house restaurant chain, Sega has revealed the Retro Diner Amy Costume. As the name suggests, this latest outfit gives Sonic Superstars' Amy a retro look, complete with a dress to match the diner theme. To unlock the exclusive IHOP-themed costume in Sonic Superstars, players need to use PanCoins, which can be earned as part of IHOP Rewards. It is worth noting that this new outfit is available for a limited time. Players have until May 5 to claim the costume, meaning those interested must redeem their coins relatively soon.

In addition to this new Sonic Superstars costume for Amy, the IHOP promotion includes other rewards that can be redeemed using PanCoins. Specifically, these rewards are full game downloads for Sonic Frontiers, Sonic Superstars, and Sonic Origins Plus, more recent games featuring Sonic. Furthermore, IHOP has given its menu a Sonic the Hedgehog-themed revamp for the collaboration.
