Like many other RPGs, 's many quests often allow for player choices to determine certain outcomes, consequences, and rewards, with most problems having multiple possible solutions depending on the character's build. As a result, it can be hard to know exactly how many ways certain quests can play out without reloading a save several times to test every available option, and certain solutions can require out-of-the-box thinking or have obscure requirements. In particular, the "" quest in 's main storyline presents a choice where it can be difficult to know every possible outcome.

As part of the main questline of, "" is an easy quest to access. Still, especially for those putting off the main story in favor of side quests, it can take a decently long time to reach "." As the tenth available mainline quest, "" falls solidly in the middle of the main story, and as such, some of the solutions to the quest will expect players to have access to well-developed skills.
