Sand Land Demo Is Now Available

Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced the release of a Sand Land demo available now for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, and PC. The demo offers players a glimpse into the Sand Land world ahead of its full release on April 26, 2024.

Sand Land is an upcoming action role-playing video game published by Bandai Namco Entertainment, based on the Japanese manga series created by Akira Toriyama. The game follows the journey of protagonists Beelzebub, Rao, Ann, and Thief as they traverse the desert in search of a Legendary Spring. Gameplay includes third-person perspective combat, with light and heavy attacks, dodging mechanics, and character progression through unlocking skills and abilities. Additionally, players can utilize various vehicles for traversal and combat, customize their basecamp in the city of Spino, engage in side activities like racing and bounty hunting, and interact with non-playable characters for rare components and services.

Bandai Namco Entertainment also released a 1-minute trailer revealing the Sand Land demo, showcasing various scenarios and vehicles, hinting at the diverse landscapes and challenges that await players in the full game. From combat encounters to vehicle sequences, the demo offers a glimpse into the Borderlands and Dragon Quest-inspired-style world of Sand Land.

Sand Land stands as one of Akira Toriyama's final projects before his passing on March 1, 2024. Along the way, players will encounter a diverse cast of characters, each with their own unique stories and motivations. In terms of gameplay, Sand Land promises a heavy emphasis on exploration, combat, and vehicle customization. Players will have to construct and command a variety of vehicles, ranging from Battle Tanks to nimble Motorbikes, each fully customizable with a range of parts and upgrades.
