Samsung’s 7-Inch Foldable Panel Is Officially ‘MIL-STD 810G’ Certified By The U.S. Department Of Defence Thanks To Its Incredible Durability

Samsung today received a new accolade, as its current-generation 7-inch foldable display has successfully passed the highly stringent military standard ‘MIL-STD 810G’ test that the U.S. Department of Defense recognizes. A Samsung Display official has described how the 7-inch panel was tested.

The company official stated that there were no problems with the product during outside activities, particularly during the gravity acceleration test, which is one of the most challenging parts of the MilSpec standard.

With around 1,800 foldable patents applied for and registered in the U.S., Samsung’s head of marketing team, Cho Yong-Seok, has said that the aforementioned figure is four times that of global competitors, and thanks to the latest certification, it is confirmed that Samsung has a strong technological
