However, the latest update now appears that the latest update appears to be throttling the charging speed, which could be an issue for a lot of people.

The Galaxy S23 supports a max charging speed of 25 watts, but it appears that after the One UI 6.1 update, the charging speed has gone down to 15W. The user even shared a screenshot showing how the phone is not charging at a higher charging speed.

Another user on Twitter asked the users if they were facing a similar issue after receiving the One UI 6.1 update, and it turns out that people who are using the Galaxy S23 devices are actually running into this issue after the update; the charging speed is limited to 15W and sometimes even lower than that.

The good news is that this does not seem like a hardware issue. Software problems happen all the time, and once Samsung is notified of the Issue, a fix will be available soon. We hope that it will not take long for the Galaxy S23 users to enjoy their devices as they are supposed to.
