Rumor: Titanfall Studio Working on Mandalorian FPS

Respawn Entertainment, the developer behind Titanfall and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, is supposedly working on a new Star Wars game that could put players in the role of a Mandalorian. These masked warriors have captivated the imaginations of Star Wars since Boba Fett first appeared in The Empire Strikes Back, and they have been a staple of the franchise’s Expanded Universe for decades. Recent Star Wars media like The Mandalorian has fleshed out the lore and culture of the Mandalorians in Disney’s official canon, making the idea of playing as one in a video game all the more enticing for fans.

This claim comes from Insider Gaming, which says that players will take control of a Mandalorian bounty hunter during the age of the Galactic Empire. Whether this will be Din Djarin of The Mandalorian fame or a completely new character is unclear, but the player will be tasked with tracking down bounties and bringing them in dead or alive for cash rewards.
